Trustworthy

Well, I just found out again,
That most people aren't trustworthy.
One day they'll tell you they love you,
The next day they loathe you.
I've had this a million times,
So I'll get over this one.

From one standpoint to the other,
Well, I've found out,
That people don't like one and another.
And from this conclusion,
I draw all my others.

I learned from the gypsy boys in the woods,
How to chase one if I had to.
I had tried,
And I had failed.
'cause I had found,
That people don't like each other.

From the first day to my last,
I'll have to learn from the past.
From my first day to my forty,
I've found
That most people aren't trustworthy.
